Domestic C919 settles in Nanchang, with thousands of orders exposed!

For a long time, the aviation market of civil aviation has been monopolized by Airbus and Boeing, both of which have aircraft orders in most countries around the world.

Although Boeing and Airbus planes are indeed very popularWelcome, but after China independently developed the C919 aircraft, this balance is about to be disrupted.

As a domestically designed and developed large aircraft in China, the C919 is bound to break the opportunity of foreign monopoly in the market. This is not boasting, but with solid order support.

Recently, the US Defense Times exposed an order for the C919. According to the data table, as early as November 16, 2010, Air China had already signed 20 intention orders, and in 2020, China Airlines confirmed 50 orders.

As of now, there are 856 confirmed orders for C919. Although most of them are intended orders, as long as C919 smoothly starts mass production, these intended orders will become actual orders.

Moreover, there are rumors that due to the lack of airworthiness certification, there are still 390 orders that have not been officially announced. If these are included, the total number of C919 orders will reach 1056.

The production and test flight center of the domestically produced C919 has now settled in Nanchang, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, the production line will start no later than next year. But there is still an urgent matter waiting for the C919 to be resolved.

If the C919 wants to enter overseas markets, it must obtain airworthiness certificates issued by the United States and the European Union, also known as airworthiness certificates. Simply put, it is the license that a commercial aircraft must first obtain when operating commercially in other countries.

Currently, the United States and the European Union have the strongest strength in the aviation field in the world, and have developed the aviation industry for a long time, naturally becoming the most authoritative representatives in this field. Therefore, most aviation management departments in the world currently follow the relevant regulations of the United States and the European Union as standards.

This means that as long as a country's aircraft obtains an airworthiness certificate from the United States or the European Union, it can be used in other countries. But since the C919 has not obtained an airworthiness certificate, can't China's C919 fly out of the country?

In fact, it is not only clear whether it can fly across the country, but also whether it can replace the domestic Boeing market.

For China, even if the C919 cannot go abroad, it can be sold by nearly a thousand domestic airlines alone. Compared to Boeing, this situation is not too exciting. For example, if Boeing's 737 Max aircraft wants to operate around the world, it must not give up the Chinese market. If China does not recognize it, even if the same model operates around the world, the losses suffered by the United States will inevitably be even more severe than those suffered by China.

In summary, if the United States continues to persist and delays in granting the C919 airworthiness certificate, then Boeing's 737 Max will not be able to enter the Chinese market.

Americans will not fail to understand the truth that two powers are more important than each other, so it is only a matter of time before C919 succeeds in obtaining the airworthiness certificate.
