The Drive website reported on October 30th that a very peculiar looking fighter jet appeared at the testing site of Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group in satellite photos taken by Planet Labs Inc, a commercial satellite company in the United States, on October 29th.

According to reports, this fighter jet seems to have been first exposed in the first half of this year near an independent hangar on the northeast side of the testing ground. Its body is shaped like a diamond triangle, with a relatively thin nose section and a wingspan similar to that of the J-20, so it is not considered small.

The most noteworthy feature is its tailless design, which helps with stealth and avoids being detected by radar. Another advantage is that this design can reduce drag, allowing the aircraft to fly at high speeds and cruise continuously.

After modification, the large delta wing can not only carry a large amount of fuel, but also has a lot of space for large internal ammunition compartments.

In addition, it is reported that if this fighter jet is a drone, it can become an unmanned "loyal wingman" of the J-20 fighter jet, providing strong and high-performance support.
